These terms apply to your use of molarium at molarium.app. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

What molarium is

molarium provides free calculators for laboratory solutions and information pages about chemicals drawn from PubChem and from documents shared by members. It is a reference tool for trained people working in laboratories. It is not professional, medical, safety or regulatory advice, and it does not replace your institution's safety procedures or the safety data sheet supplied with a product.

No warranty

The site is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Calculations, chemical data and hazard classifications may contain errors or be out of date. You are responsible for checking every result before relying on it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, molarium and its operators are not liable for any loss, injury or damage arising from use of the site.

Accounts

You may create an account with Google or with an email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials private and for activity under your account. We may suspend or delete accounts that break these terms. You can delete your recipes and uploads at any time from your profile, and you can ask us to delete your account.

Content you share

When you upload a safety data sheet or share a recipe, you confirm that you have the right to share it and that it is unmodified and accurate to the best of your knowledge. You grant molarium a non-exclusive licence to store and display it to other users. Uploads are public and unverified. Anyone can report a file, and files that receive several reports are hidden until reviewed. We remove content on valid request from rights holders; use the report button and choose "Copyright concern".

Acceptable use

Do not upload anything that is not a safety data sheet, that contains malware or personal data, or that you have no right to distribute. Do not attempt to gain access to other accounts or to disrupt the service, and do not scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for others.

Changes

We may change the site or these terms. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new date. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
